C++ Developer

Applications are invited for a full-time software development position at Tech-X Corporation. Tech-X specializes in computational science, aimed at understanding physical systems for scientific and engineering applications. The position requires 3+ years of experience developing with C++ and 3+ years of experience with GUI development. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Qt, MPI/OpenMP (or other parallel and distributed computing), GPU or many-core programming, and development for scientific or engineering applications. Experience with cross-platform development, including Linux, Windows, and Mac OS is a plus. Tech-X offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Computational Mathematician

Applications are invited for a full time position as a computational mathematician to work on large scale linear algebra libraries with a particular emphasis on their performance on many-core and multi-core architectures. The ideal candidate would have an advanced degree in applied mathematics, computer science, or a related field. The candidate should have experience in development on GPUs using either CUDA or OpenCL, and familiarity with their performance in scientific software. In addition, the candidate is expected to have strong scientific programming skills and first-hand experience with parallel programming. Knowledge of PETSc and experience in advanced C++ would be a plus. Position is commensurate with degree level.
