VorpalView
Visualization make easy
VorpalView, a free application provided by Tech-X, gives researchers a
tool that makes visualizing data from VORPAL easy. 1D, 2D, and 3D plots
of particle data, field data, and simulation geometry can be viewed in a
simple to use GUI. Images can be saved to share with collegues, and
animations can be created showing how the simulation evolves over time.
Cross-platform
Since VorpalView is written in IDL and runs on a virtual machine, the
application can be run almost anywhere, from Unix servers to your
desktop or laptop computer. The IDL virtual machine is available at now
cost for Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, and other common Unix variants.
Two versions of VorpalView are offered below. VorpalView 3.0.4 is
compatible with data produced by VORPAL 3.0.0. VorpalView 2.2.0 can
work with data files from both VORPAL 2.2.0 and VORPAL 2.0.0. The older
version of the visualizer, 1.0.6, cannot read files from the latest
version of VORPAL.
